The 12 months of Islamic calendar are named in Arabic. Those are as listed below –

  1. Muḥarram — المحرّم – Muḥarram
  2. Ṣafar — صفر – Ṣafar
  3. Rabi al-Awwal — ربيع الأوّل – Rabi al-Awwal
  4. Rabi ath-Thani or Rabi al-Akhir — ربيع الثاني or ربيع الآخر -Rabi ath-Thani or Rabi al-Akhir
  5. Jumada-Al-Awwal — جمادى الأولى – Jumādā al-Ūlā
  6. Jumada-Al-Thani or Jumada Al-Akhira) — جمادى الثانية or جمادى الآخرة- Jumādā ath-Thāniya or Jumādā al-Ākhira
