Eid-UL-Fitr  (also Eid al fitr) is the biggest festival for the Muslim people. Each and every Muslim celebrates this day with a great joy and dedication. Eid-UL-Fitr is as a gift to the Muslim from Allah after a long term fast. Kids as usual remain most excited. Eid brings happiness to everyone’s heart and kids are the happiest. It may say that the Eid-UL-Fitr for kids is very important. There are several common activities kids do before and on the Eid day. Reading this content you will know about the Eid-UL-Fitr for kids.

Before Eid day

There are some movements of the kids before the Eid-UL-Fitr. Those are being explained here.

New dresses

New dress is the most desired things on the Eid-UL-Fitr. They went for a shopping with their family and select new dresses for them. Kids are sometime not willing to show their dresses to others before Eid day. They think that their dress will not remain latest then. They want their dresses to be the best.

Greeting card

Kids love to buy and bought greeting cards for their friends and family. They wrote some greeting on it and invite their friends to their house with the greeting card. They usually write,

  • I hope you will come to my house for the Eid Day, Eid Mubarak.
  • Eid Mubarak to you and your family.

Take part in Ramadan and watch the new moon

The small kids often don’t keep fast for the entire month. Their parents don’t allow them to keep fast. Parents do so caring about their health. But they try their best to manage parents and keep fast for Allah. Sometimes they keep some the fast of the month of Ramadan. After the Ramadan month kids remain mostly excited to watch the new moon of Shawal (an Arabic month). It brings the Eid-UL- Fitr to them.

Saying an Eid prayer

On the Eid day their first duty is to take a fresh bath and go for the Eid-UL-Fitr prayer. They went with their father to the place where Eid prayer will be performed. They perform prayer, hug their Muslim brothers and come back to him. Then they eat some homemade sweets.

Collect the Eidi

It’s the most favorite part of the kids. They go to all of their close relatives one by one to have eidi. Eidi may be called as Eid bonus, which is expected by the kids from the elders. They first collect some money from their own parents and then attack others. The superiors also enjoy giving the Eidi to the Kids.

Visiting friend and relatives

The next movement on the Eid day is to visit friend’s houses. They take some sweets on their friend’s house. Kids also have to visit their relative’s house with their mother.

Having fun

Eid is actually a source of having abundant fun to the children. They enjoy the school vacations for Eid-UL-Fitr. They play all day long and permitted to go out with their friends. They usually don’t get such type of freedom as parents thinks about them so much. But Eid day id different and parents also don’t stop them to have fun.
