Ramadan is the 9th Islamic month of total 12 months. This month is considered as one of the most significant blessed and sacred month of Islamic calendar. By fasting on this whole month Muslim community of the world observes Ramadan month.

Special Dates of Ramadan

2 Ramadan

On 2 Ramadan Torah also known as Tawrat which is a sacred and very important book of Islam was delivered to Musa, a great Prophet and leader of Islam by Almighty Allah. Musa is also knows as Moses. According to the Quran all the Prophets of Islam was directed by Tawrat.

2 Ramadan will be observed on Monday, 30th June of 2014 in USA.

10 Ramadan

10 Ramadan is important for the death anniversary of first wife of Holy prophet of Islam Mohammad (S.A.W). The death was occurred in the year of 620 CE. Her name is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. She was the first individual who converted to Islam. Khadijah bint Khuwaylid is considered as the mother of Islam by Muslims community of the world.

10 Ramadan is also important for the Operation Badr by Egypt against Israel which was took place on October of 1973, starting Yom Kippur War by Egypt and Syria against Israel. Result of Ypom Kippur war was Israeli Military victory and result of Operation Badr was decisive Egyptian victory.

10 Ramadan will be observed on Tuesday, 8th July of 2014 in USA.

12 Ramadan

On 12 Ramadan Gospel also known as Injil was delivered to Jesus who is also known as Isa. Gospel is a book which narrates about the life, resurrection and death of Jesus. Muslim community of the world believes that Injil is one of the 4th holy books of Islam which is delivered to Isa by Almighty Allah.

12 Ramadan will be observed on Thursday, 10th July of 2014 in USA.

15 Ramadan

15 Ramadan is the birth day of Hasan ibn Ali. He is the grandson of Holy Prophet of Islam Mohammad (S.A.W), son of last Caliph Ali and Fatimah. He is regarded as the martyr and one of the most important personalities of Islam by the Muslim community of the world.

On 15 Ramadan in the Ottoman Empire or Turkish Empire founded in 1299 the sultan presented Baklava trays (Baklava is a kind of dessert & it is made in a large tray) in a ceremony to Janissaries which is known as Baklava Alay.

15 Ramadan will be observed on Sunday, 13th July of 2014 in USA.

17 Ramadan

17 Ramadan is the death anniversary of Aisha bint Abu Bakr, the 3rd wife of last and Holy Prophet of Islam Mohammad (S.A.W). She is considered as one of the most important personality of Islam.

On 17 Ramadan Muslims was won Battle of Badr in 624 CE. The Battle o Badr fought between Muslims of Medina and Quraish of Mecca. This battle is regarded as one of the most important battles and the victory is regarded as one of the most important victories of Islamic history. Even in Holy Quran, name of Battle of Badr is mentioned which proves it’s important to Muslims.

17 Ramadan will be observed on Tuesday, 15th July of 2014 in USA.

18 Ramadan

On 18 Ramadan the Psalms also known as Zabur delivered to the David also known as Dawood. Psalms is considered as the 1st book of writing which is the 3rd section of Hebrew bible. In Islam Zabur is one of the four holy books which are delivered to Prophet Dawod by Almighty Allah.

18 Ramadan will be observed on Wednesday, 16th July of 2014 in USA.

19 Ramadan

On 19 Ramadan Ali ibn Abu Talib, cousine and son-in-law of Holy prophet Mohammad (S.A.W) and 1st male who accepted Islam was injured on head by a sword. He was the last Caliph of and an important figure of Islam.

19 Ramadan will be observed on Thursday, 17th July of 2014 in USA.

20 Ramadan

On 20 Ramadan Fatah Makkah, a most important and great event of Islam took place. The event is also known as the conquest of Makkah.

20 Ramadan will be observed on Wednesday, 18th July of 2014 in USA.

21 Ramadan

21 Ramadan is important to Muslim community for the death anniversary of a very important figure of Islam Ali ibn Abu Talib. He was the cousin and also son-in-law of last Prophet of Islam Mohammad (S.A.W). Ali ibn Abu Talib was injured by the sword on 19 Ramadan and his death occurred for this injury.

21 Ramadan will be observed on Thursday, 19th July of 2014 in USA.
